Individual counselling for adults
Individual counselling — support for managing stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, Bipolar and many other mental health diagnosis’.
Individual parenting counselling — we will support you to identify unconscious parenting patterns from your own childhood and teach you how to “break the cycle”.
We can see you through private funding, Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover Queensland and other avenues.
Child and Family Counselling
We provide child and family counselling through Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. This focuses on building safe, trusting relationships between a child and their primary caregivers.
Play therapy is used throughout sessions to maximise the child’s learning and minimise their anxiety.
One or both parents or carers can participate in these sessions to improve your attachment to and understanding of your child.
NDIS Supports
Ocean Grace is able to accept NDIS funded clients and can provide therapy in the following areas:
Therapeutic counselling supports — we provide one on one counselling for people diagnosed with a disability.
Therapy and Behaviour supports — we provide support for families and professionals including assessment and training in the management of difficult behaviours for the improvement of daily living for individuals with a disability.
Parenting Support:
We provide parenting support for individuals and couples. We can help you understand your children and their unique needs. Our aim is to help you have a stronger, closer bond and connection with all your children.
Parenting is one of the most complex roles you’ll ever face and can put a huge amount of pressure on your relationships.
We can help you get on the same page with your approach to parenting and understand why you find some parts of parenting harder than others.
